Morlanda Doq Priorat
Viticultors del Priorat is located in Bellmunt del Priorat, among the hills. Morlanda, the tallest of these hills, gives its name to this excellent red wine. The winery owes 22 hectares of vineyards, some of them located on slopes and others on flat ground, at altitudes from 190 to 220 metres above the sea level. The vines are 25 to 40 years old, although there are also younger vines and new planting vines.
Style Notes :
- Variety: Garnacha Blanc
- Origin: Spain
- Locality: Priorat
Tasting Notes :
Good attack. Good, embracing, soft and silky mid palate. Medium acidity, medium body and really well integrated ripe tannins. It follows the same behavior than in the nose, with toasted hints that give way to a sweet fruit. Long and persistent finish.
