Century old Fiuza makes wines that are food friendly, complex, made from indigenous Portuguese varieties and also international grapes. Our vision is to make wines that embody the essence and tradition of Tejo Region but also appeal to modern wine lovers.

Our Fiuza Merlot belongs to our collection of single varietal wines. It’s a wine produced to express the best characteristics of the grape Merlot in our Terroir.

Nose:  Plumy fruit and chocolate aromas 
Palate: Dark berry and coffe flavours supported by smooth tannins. Long and structured finish. 
Serving temperature: Drink at 16ºC to 18ºC (60.4ºF to 64.4ºF) 
Food pairing: Recommended with red meat dishes, soft cheeses and pasta dishes.
